- On Sunday October 29th, in windy but sunny conditions, MGC played host to the Go Green for Gastroparesis charity golf day, raising awareness for a little-known but devastating illness that has no known cure to date. Driven by member Dennis Turner and his family, 100 players turned out for a fun Ambrose event, that raised nearly $6,000 for the cause! Congratulations must go to Dennis, superintendent James Pyke and Graeme and Lorraine Ponting for their amazing round õf 5 pars and 13 birdies! A huge thank you to the players and sponsors on behalf of the Club and the Turners must be expressed.
- The MGC Committee wish to thank players for their understanding, but more importantly express their gratitude to James Pyke, the Green Team and a few hardy volunteers for their work in coring and sanding the greens on Sunday. The course will be better off for your hard work.
